  • SOLLAS wrapping machine, intended for fully or partial wrapping of products in film or coated paper according to SOLLAS specifications, wrapped product is ejected by lateral ejection mechanism.

  • The access for refilling the magazine is at the rear side of the magazine. 2 photocells are monitoring the blank pile supply. One photocell gives signal in case of blank minimum for refilling, the second photocell indicates absolute minimum of blank supply reached and switches the machine to trouble stop. A flat blank is taken out of the magazine by means of vacuum suction cups and placed into the feeding rails. During the feeding to the erecting tool hot melt glue is applied on the blank. Once at the erector position the pre-grouped products are pushed via guide plates onto the blank. Under the blank a pneumatically driven table provides the necessary support during the loading process. Product and blank are pressed downwards from above by the tool with the size ram whereby the tray or box is formed around the products. The table features vacuum support so that the pressure of the ram on the products is reduced. After that the erected boxes leave the erecting station in an intermittently driven feeding conveyor and are transported to the lid forming station. During the transport hot melt glue is applied on the gluing flaps of the lid. At the lid forming station a special forming tool forms and glues the lid. Then the lid is bent and pressed on. The completed formed and closed boxes are transported out of the machine on a feed-out conveyor.
